P-500 Sample & Bleed Valves

P-500 Series (L) and HV22 Series (R)

Sample & Bleed Valves for High Pressure

The P-500 Series High Pressure Sample and Bleed Valves provide minimum weight with compace configuration designs.

Both the P14-500 and P15-500 have been qualified to the requirements of MIL-V-81940. Other valves in the P-500 Series have been qualified to this specification by similarity. In addition, the P31-500 meets the Hi-Shock requirements called for in MIL-S-901C.

Sample & Bleed Valves for Low Pressure

Our Low Pressure Sample and Bleed valves also provide compact configuration designs and minimum weight for low pressure service where less severe conditions are anticipated.

The HV22-24 Series meets the requirements of MIL-V-81940/2(ME) and HV22-23 meets the requirements of MIL-V-81940/3(ME) for ground support equipment with operating pressure to 300 PSI.

Hydraulic Sampling and Bleed Valves

Among the many variations available, the HV99-46 Hydraulic Sampling and Bleed Valve is used on the hydraulic system of the solid rocket booster (SRB). This stainless steel valve operates in a Type II, Class 3000 PSI hydraulic system meeting the general requirements of MIL-H-5440, with hydraulic fluid compatibility per MIL-H-83282B and a temperature range of −65° F to +275° F.

Motor-operated Valves

By utilizing proven state-of-the-art designs, Circle Seal Controls' Motor-operated Valves meet or exceed the demanding requirements of today's high-performance turbine powered aircraft.

The product line includes a full size range of gate valves and a full size range of ball valves, plug, spool, and butterfly valves. The electric motor actuator is designed and manufacturered using well-established methodology to provide a reliable, long cycle life, no maintenance acutator for electrical operation of valve mechanisms.

These valves are qualified in accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-810C and have been test proven to handle 10,000 cycles minimum at a torque of 45 lb/inch (capabilities to 50,000 cycles and greater). Units have been designed and tested in accordance with MIL-V-8608 and MIL-M-8609.

Emission of radio frequency interference has also been controlled. The units have been qualified and can be manufactured to meet the requirements of RTCA Document DO-160A, Category A (equivalent to Boeing Document D6-16050-2, Category 3A).

V-4360 Fuse Valves & P-595 Flow Limiters

Flow Limiter (L) and Fuse Valve (R)

Fuse Valves

The fuse valves provide automatic shutoff after passing a prescribed volume reacting under certain conditions to close a hydraulic line when those conditions are indicative of an actual or potential downstream amlfunction. All of the fuse valve assemblies are self-resetting and contain a manual bypass valve mechanism. Circle Seal Controls fuse design has been test-proven to over 20,000 cycles.

Flow Limiters

The flow limiting valve assemblies are pressure compensated flow control devices preset to control the flow regulation in one direction to within ±3%. Units can be provides which will regulate flow in both directions. Circle Seal Controls flow limiting design has been test-proven for a fatigue life of over 4,400,000 impulse cycles and endurance of over 1,100,000 cycles.
